The song is about a mermaid
(and actually base on the popular mermaid tale in japan, in the end she turns into bubbles because she can't kill the prince)
and I really like one part of the song which the lyrics is means
"falling rain please don't stop because I'm in love" <3<3<3

I'm so in love with this picture, I find myself going back looking at it over and over, and I'm really tempted to buy the print. I'm a huge fan of The Little Mermaid and this just captures to feel of it perfectly to me. I don't know if any of this was intentional, but I always saw different symbols in this that I would relate to The Little Mermaid. Like, the musical note around her neck is a symbol for her singing voice which she gave up, the knife is a symbol for her death when she couldn't use it to kill the prince, and the umbrella is a symbol for rejecting water.
