Acrylic painting tutorial by miimork Acrylic painting tutorial by miimork
OK, I've been avoiding from making a tutorial for a longgggg time because I have no confident in my english (neither now though). But, I realized that keep avoiding make me no good. Also, this will be a great chance for me to improve my english XD
So, here it is, an acrylic tutorial! You may rather call it step painting or whatever than a tutorial though *lol* Ok, no matter what it is, here you are XD Hope you enjoy it

If there are any grammar mistakes in this tutorial (and I bet there are lots of them) please feel free to tell me in the comment box ^^ that will help me a lot! Thank you!

How did you color the white bamboo design in the water blue without it just coating the entire thing? it looks more like you shaded it than painting over it. You mentioned it as a thin layer of light blue, but I have no idea how you managed that. Was it by watering it down? If so, can you explain that?

I mixed the blue in my palette with lots of water so that it turns into translucent blue, then use it to coated the entire white reflection. I hope  this explanation will help you figure it out XD.

Hello I just have a really dumb question but, how do you scan canvas ?

For this work, I  used thick cardboard (I'm not sure what it's called but it just something like a very thick and strong hard paper) so it was easy to scan. For a really big canvas I had to took a photo instead of scanning to UvU.

I don't have acrylic medium so I use only water :D (So I can't tell you which one I prefer more *lol*)
but if I have a chance I want to have a try on medium too ;v;

Holy crud, that is a pretty good! Though I do have to agree, the adjustment is a bit much and you lose some pretty colors. :C

While there are plenty of grammatical errors, your English isn't that bad, and it's pretty easy to understand what you're trying to say. Honestly, I've seen worse written by native English speakers, so trust me, you're doing fine. :D (I would make a list of your mistakes to try and help you, but it's really late right now and I still need to take a shower, lol! :XD:)

This was a wonderful tutorial, though, and since I'm awful at painting, this will help me out a lot. Thanks for making it! :D

Haha it looks really interesting how you work. Honestly I couldn't do this steps. It looks so difficult for me. I would add the pencil lines at first before I paint. xD
Do you sketch to have an idea at first what you want to paint?

Well, it's a very lovely tutorial~anyways, I did notice some grammar errors (mainly related to group & single person nouns)

The parragraph that starts with "Me, sometimes mix other colors which is not…" should be switched to "Sometimes I mix other colors that are not…"

"In this step, I usually add the texture with brush strokes"

In the section that it says “next draw an outline…”, stands should be replaced with stand since it refers to 1 person
Bamboo stays as bamboo while ripple changes to ripples

I hope it helps!
